This is a great park if you're looking for wildlife and boating. It sits and the Southernmost point of Lake Whitney, adjacent to the dam. Bathrooms are well-maintained and conveniently located throughout the park. We camped at the group site which is fantastic. The group site is completely separated from the rest of the camping area and features many trees for shade, five 30 AMP campsites and room for at least a dozen tents. There is a large pavilion, a very large grill (about 4' X 4'), several small grills at each pull in site, and plenty of deer roaming around.
I stayed here with some friends over Labor Day weekend, and we had a blast. The park is clean, the staff is friendly, and seems to be well-maintained overall. The only complaint we had was the amount of obnoxiously loud boaters just off the shore at all hours of the day and night (we were trying to fish, so a calm lake is somewhat necessary).

Beautiful park great wildlife and nature. Awesome fishing. Hot water in the showers.
I will definitely be returning, since Lofers Bend Park ended up being the best tent camping experience I've had. Camping spots book up well in advance, we chose our reservation about six months out for Labor Day Weekend, I would recommend not waiting until the last minute if you are interested.
